One of my Hometown Favorites good food good people great atmosphere.

Food was home cooking style. A good selection. Everything I tried was tasty. Nice people, friendly atmosphere.

I have been going to Joys Home Cooking since they opened. They have a good variety of food every day. Ms Kim is a super host along with her husband. They remember when our granddaughter was born and still ask about her after 19 years. If our grandson isn't with us they always ask about him. I have read negative comments because the building is old. They keep it very clean and Ms Kim has added items to make it homey and nice. I would 100% recommend Joys to anyone looking for a good meal and good service at a reasonable price.

Joys homecooking has a different cook and maybe new management. The food wasnt very good before but now its great. The prices are low. Very resonable . Lots of room for larger partys. Stop by and try it. You will see a HUGE improvement.

Great place. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. Since this was my first time in this restaurant I tried everything and every plate I tried was unbelievable. Salad and main dishes and desserts. Taste is great. I'm so impressed I can't wait to bring more people with me here. Fully recommend it.

Like going to Grannys after church when I was little. Great service. Best buffet price in town.

Very good food, good variety of vegetables. They are open on Sunday. Starting today.

1st and last time going. The food was COLD dried out. The bread was hard as a rock. The other food that was suppose to be on a hot counter very cold. The food was awful. Dont waste your 9.00 dollars. When you ask for fresh food they tell you it's food in the pan.

Food is terrible. Not 1 thing I had was good. For a tiny bit more Golden coral is just down the road. Much better food.

I little hesitant to drive here since I haven't been here in a couple of years. Last time I was here it was under different owners. I am hugely impressed. Under new owners and it shows!! Everything is good and hot!! Love the fried chicken and nachos and cheese. I know nachos and cheese on a buffet is a little iffy but the nacho cheese is awesome. Almost as good as Taco Bell cheese. Will be back here often. Even when I'm driving 25 miles to get here!!!

Excellent buffet. Every item was fresh and tasty. Their fried catfish is second to none.

This place is good to visit because of the friendly employees. You get a variety of home cooked dishes. The restaurant is a clean environment with plenty of seating, and the price is very affordable. A place for family or business gatherings.

Good home cooked food at a good price

Old outdated restaurant. Geared toward the elderly. The ladies who run this restaurant are the sweetest in the whole world!!! Customer service was excellent!!!The food was ok but wasn't hot and needed seasoning. Not a big variety to choose from. Not many healthy or baked options. For the price definitely won't be back.

The wait staff were friendly, unfortunately I was unimpressed with the food quality. Buffett style cooking rarely is excellent and this was no exception. But, just like any all you can eat... It is... All you can eat.

You must pay first, terrible service, buffet food was stone cold. Demanded money back received no apology or option to cook food fresh.

Most of the hot foods are cold.. dirty glases.. dirty windows.. not too many different menus to eat.. considering the price.. $10.. you can have better alternatives in the area.. but they have kindly waitresses..

this place used to be pretty good. Now it’s kind of slid down the hill. Every time I go in there you cannot get warm food. Very busy on Sundays. Sometimes it’s a hit and sometimes it’s a mess

This restaurant has been in Winder for quite a while. The building/dining area is older...probably a steak house back in the day. BUT...the important thing is the food. They always have a good variety of fresh and delicious Southern food. They always keep the buffet full and fresh. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I reccomend you give it a try.

Good price, decent food, good service. Building and bathroomscould use some updating.

It a good place to bring family

We decided today to try this place for the first time. The place was clean and the staff was super friendly. Food tasted bland and was soaking in grease on the buffet. The fruit from the salad bar was terrible. Pineapple should not be so hard that you can't eat it. I mean how do you mess up fruit?! As soon as we pull into our driveway my husband gets out of the car and runs to the grass so he can vomit. He had not eaten before this and 11 hours later still can't eat anything. Sorry to be gross, but he has it coming out of both ends. I really really wanted to like this place because it's close to where we live. Unfortunately, this first time visit will be our last.**Proceed with caution***

Always good.. The owners treat you like they know you. I really love seafood Friday. And the tea... Omg best in town...you may find something you don't like on the buffet. But I guarantee you'll find a lot to love!!!

Very good, and affordable

After a long hiatus, my mom and I decided to go there for lunch yesterday. Now I remember why we stayed away from Joy's for so long. Joy's food quality was going down hill when we left and is continuing to trickle into obscurity.Stay away and save your money and tastebuds.

Great selection of food sides and desserts All you can eat for $10 -$11 around lunch time.

Friendly staff, a lot of the food is bland, but a lot also has good flavor.

Good food, slightly limited selection, but what they do have was very tasty. Clean, spacious interior. Good for family dining.

I will say this if you want a home cooked meal type of meal the this place is awesome so much to choose from they don't forget nobody's appetite.

They are a good place every time I've ate there

We had the buffett. The food was, at best, warm, overcooked, tough porkchops, and generally bland. They didn't put out tartar sauce for the fish but provided some upon request. The restaurants appearance left much to be desired. The floors appeared dirty, and restroom was dirty. I can give a compliment to Joys Home Cooking though. The server was very attentive and polite. No waiting for refills or anything. She went above and beyond to try and make sure we were taken care of.

Very good place to have a great home cooked meal. Joy's also has an awesome atmosphere. The staff is as welcoming and pleasant. A great place to bring your family and friends or just yourself.

The people are nice but the food is hit or miss. Today was a miss. The meats were not hot, nor was the bread. Don't eat the ribs. Not hot, over-seasoned, very fat and greasy. The vegetables are great, as is the salad and fruit bar. The peach dessert was really good.

Waitress was as unfriendly and inattentive as I've ever had. The food was ok at best, we won't be visiting again.

Horrible. I have been to several home cooking, country buffets like M&J, Baby Jane's, etc. I have never rated any of them lower than a 4 star. I understand that some things are going to be bland because these restaurants are mostly geared towards elderly it seems so I take all that into consideration. But honestly there wasn't one thing that tasted good. I mean nothing. I have eaten TV dinners better than this food. And don't let me get started on the desserts...seemed to all be frozen pies that they just thawed out. I have never been so disappointed in my life. On top of that the waitress only came to our table once and that was towards the end of our meal after we sat with empty drinks for about 10 mins. If you like bland food than this is the place for you but it's just not for me. Sorry.

The food is good. And much better entrances and exits. When you come and go. Not like Dairy Queen or the cookout and the police give you tickets when you turn left from either place the Circle K store I'm sure is getting tired of all the traffic in their parking lot for the ones who need to turn left. It's the only legal left turn you can make

Great food, very friendly people. Wish I lived closer, I would eat here all the time. Oh, and cute waitress 😁
